Every Tuesdays from 12.30pm

Those who attend benefit from expert advice from the weekly speakers and local business mentors, peer support, networking and one-to-ones with Sophia Hub staff. This is a friendly meeting place for local people at any stage of a business including people who just want to explore the idea.

Sophia Training Course

Runs every couple of months.

This reflective and transformative course helps the trainees develop ideas for social enterprises starting with a reflection on what the area is like (its strengths and problems) through to developing clear aims and objectives for a business idea. Further support is given after the course.

Our aim is to contribute to the social and economic regeneration of the Seven Kings and Newbury Park areas.  Sophia is the Greek word for wisdom. We choose it for our name as we believe that every area and local community has a wealth of skills, expertise and wisdom. This is our starting point and our aim is to unlock and use these resources for the benefit of local communities. We are a social enterprise which aims to generate income to make our business sustainable. Our services are currently free at point of entry but there are fees and payback arrangements for ongoing support.
